"You can't get closer to the water than Mitch's, a counter-service joint in Point Loma, right on the city's working waterfront. It's the perfect place to enjoy some quintessential San Diego fish tacos and a cold beer. Just don't expect any frills. If you want the freshest fish you'll ever have, you should always defer to the day's catch, but popular staples include the octopus and Mahi Mahi tacos. Other interesting options: the smoked fish banh mi and crab poutine. All of Mitch's seafood is sustainably caught, so you can eat in good conscience no matter what you order." - Archana Ram
