"Located in a former 1927 bus depot, Cúrate is a bustling restaurant where ham legs hang, ripe for slicing, and a wall of vermouth taps presupposes your next drink. In between, the space is filled with bottles and Spanish-language signage. It all makes you feel almost as if you've just landed in Spain. The menu changes seasonally, save for a few mainstays, like the pan con tomate and tortilla española. But any choice is wise, from the octopus or the sardines to the cochinillo, a quarter of a roasted suckling pig. Before or after dinner, belly up to the restaurant's relatively new vermouth bar, and let the staff guide your choices." - Stephanie Burt
