"Freedom Park is to Charlotteans what Central Park is to New Yorkers. The 98-acre park, which sits between Charlotte's Dilworth and Myers Park neighborhoods, has a seven-acre lake and facilities for basketball, tennis, volleyball, soccer, and baseball.
