"A new general store with a bar and restaurant called Metropolitan Variety Store is now open. As Eater reported back in October, the spot located 8047 Agnes Street, had been in the works for a while. In November, Metropolitan Variety finally opened it’s doors, functioning as a three-for-one general store, restaurant, and bar. The newly-opened spot in Detroit’s West Village takes over the former cocktail bar Craft Work.
