Popular African Eatery Komchop Opens A Second Location on Westheimer | Eater Houston

"I note that Komchop recently opened a second location earlier this month in a strip mall near George Bush Park at 14144 Westheimer Road, joining its original on Bellfort Boulevard about five months after the first location opened in February. Its Facebook page describes the new outpost as serving “delicious meals in a simple but classy environment,” and the restaurant has since racked up dozens of solid reviews on Yelp and Google. The extensive menu at the new spot — and part of why it bills itself as the “finest African restaurant in Houston” — includes yams & egg sauce; jollof rice served with proteins like goat or steamed fish; several soups such as okro, egusi, pepper, and fish banga; plus moi-moi, bole and fish, and spaghetti jollof.
