"Indika, a Montrose Indian mainstay, will remain open. News had broken that the restaurant would close after 18 years, but owner Mickey Kapoor decided against it. Initially, Kapoor planned to transform the restaurant with a meat-heavy menu inspired by the Silk Road, but the complexities of changing its name and obtaining new permits led to a change of heart.
