"Evenings only, La Yaquesita grills until the tray runs dry. The roadside stall is easy to miss, but cars keep slipping off Buckeye Road for a fix. At $10, the stand’s main staple Yaqui-style is a bit steeper in price, but comes fully stacked with the classic Sonoran toppings and barely held together by the bun. The Quesi-Dogo fuses dog to bread with bubbling mozzarella; the Chile-Dogo stuffs the frank inside a whole roasted green chile, landing somewhere between a hot dog and a chile relleno. There’s almost no shade and no seating so wait for the sun to go down in the summer. Dinner happens standing up or by the tailgate." - McConnell Quinn
