"Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse is a new restaurant opening at the Flamingo with a vintage look, speakeasy entrance, and homage to mobsters. It plans to start taking reservations on May 1. The restaurant named for Benjamin 'Bugsy' Siegel and Meyer Lansky takes over the former Center Cut Steakhouse space, along with Café To Go and Laurel Lounge spaces. The $10 million restaurant will feature a head chef from the Food Network show hosted by Anne Burrell. The design includes a bakery façade, dry-aged meat cooler, bar, lounge, raw bar, private dining rooms, ornate dining room, and a hidden speakeasy called The Count Room. The menu offers classic dishes, table-side service, dry-aged steaks, seafood, short ribs, lamb saddle, steak Diane, and desserts like baked Alaska. The bar includes rum cocktails and a table-side Old Fashioned cart, while The Count Room offers its own cocktail and food menus with vintage images from the Flamingo’s early days." - Susan Stapleton
