"Every two months this Watertown Caribbean–Mediterranean restaurant transforms into an intimate supper-club venue where private chef Kendall DaCosta stages a five-course, Afro-diasporic tasting for roughly 25–30 diners at a $175 ticket; recent plates have included red snapper carpaccio and fonio congee. DaCosta frames the project around cultural storytelling (titled “Out of Many, One People”), centers Black culinary traditions by hosting dinners at Black-owned restaurants, and augments the meals with live installations and cocktails — for example, a March event featured local artists Nygel Jones and Erick Maldonado and cocktails by the general manager, Obi Ndukwe." - Celina Colby
