"Yugen, known for its $215 per-person tasting menu, suddenly closed. The restaurant, which replaced the three-Michelin-starred Grace in 2018, had found success under executive chef Mari Katsumura. Despite retaining much of Grace's look, Yugen stood out for its food, service, and talented staff. However, Katsumura resigned in May, and without her, the menu didn't make sense. Owner Michael Olszewski praised the staff and hinted at a new restaurant opening in the same space." - Ashok Selvam
