"I was excited to see the dramatic restoration of Michigan Central Station: Ford Motor Company spent nearly $1 billion and six years renovating the once long-neglected train station, and its rebirth feels symbolic of Detroit’s recent rebound. The reopening kicks off an 11-day Michigan Central OPEN program starting June 6, highlighted by a free “Live From Detroit” concert co-produced by Eminem and Paul Rosenberg with an all-star lineup that includes Diana Ross, Jack White, Big Sean, and Slum Village; the event sold out so quickly that ticket registration crashed the site.
