"Replacing Curry Hut, Cups & Bowls will take over the Golden Desert Plaza space near Saffron Flavors of India and the intersection of Tenaya Way and Craig Road; it's a build-your-own-bowl concept that expands the original Japanese-Thai fusion menu to let diners create Indian curry or poke bowls while keeping a similar beverage roster of boba, fruit teas, slushes, and smoothies. Diners choose a base of curry, rice, French fries, or lettuce, select proteins including chicken karaage, stewed shrimp, and fried tofu, and then add the option of Japanese curry or red and green sauces; poke bowls can be made with tuna, salmon, or shrimp. The menu also includes chicken and beef curry burritos, udon curry soup, and chicken katsu. The restaurant plans to be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and is asking fans to be patient “as we rebrand and improve our product and service offerings.”" - Bradley Martin
