Does Seattle Have Enough Fried Chicken Restaurants? - Eater Seattle

"On Tuesday, in the middle of the “atmospheric river of rain” that drenched the entire Northwest, passersby on Capitol Hill were treated to a grim sight: a line of people huddled under hoodies and umbrellas waiting for chicken. In fairness, this wasn’t just any chicken, it was Dave’s Hot Chicken, the Nashville-style Los Angeles–based chain that got a vital bit of early publicity from Eater LA back in 2017 and has since spread all over the U.S., plus Canada and the Persian Gulf. The Dave’s on 12th Avenue and Pike Street, which opened on Saturday, December 2, is the first of 10 locations planned for the Seattle area, reports Capitol Hill Seattle Blog." - Harry Cheadle
