"In September Beacon Hill’s MacPherson’s Fruit and Produce, an old-school produce stand, announced it was closing due to economic factors and owner Greg MacPherson’s desire to retire; after being closed and vacant for five months manager Elias Benitez bought the business and plans to open it 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily with a somewhat smaller inventory, saying, “I’ll do my best to keep it going and have good stuff for people,” and “We’re here for the people.”" - Harry Cheadle
