"Right next to Buena Gente Cuban Bakery, The Po’Boy Shop & Basement Bar is tucked away in a Decatur strip mall where guests can play pool and catch the latest sports games on the screen of their choice (there are more than 15 TVs here). Try a Cajun platter — crawfish, catfish, and alligator are popular — or Cajun classics like Jambalaya, gumbo, or red beans and rice. There are more than 20 po’boys on the menu (that’s what the restaurant is named for, after all), and each comes traditionally dressed with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and a pickle.
