The Best Things Eater Seattle’s Editors Ate in March 2025 | Eater Seattle

"After a devastating fire in fall 2023 the South Park cafe has reopened and been retooled inside — the writer notes, "I love the black-and-white striped chairs" — and it now even serves dinner. It's described as "French-ier than ever," with a breakfast menu that skips the usual scones or pastries for galettes; "don't think twice, just order it." The crust is buttery and crumbly and holds up well, and the fillings are spectacular — sharply sweet strawberry or deeply savory onion. The writer's group ordered a breakfast sandwich but "I sorta wish we had just gotten another onion galette instead." - Harry Cheadle
