"Opened around the new year in the 4,132-square-foot corner space at F Street and Sixth Avenue that last housed Vegas transplant Off the Strip, The Morning After is a Gaslamp eatery now serving daily breakfast and combining a bar and lounge area with a separate dining room. Its daytime menu leans sweet—Fruity Pebbles pancakes topped with mascarpone buttercream, Cinnamon Toast Crunch brioche toast with Grand Marnier icing, and a red velvet waffle topped with cream cheese icing and toasted pecans—while savory options include bacon-wrapped asparagus with an over-easy egg and balsamic drizzle and shrimp and grits with pancetta herb gravy; French toast, waffle and pancake flights are available, along with brunch drink flights from mimosas and margaritas to Bloody Marys.
