"I learned that the Mexican restaurant Tomatillos, on the edge of East Atlanta Village, announced it will be closing on Sunday, March 11 after seven years in business; the closure was posted by owner Margaret Kaiser (a former state representative and mayoral candidate) on the restaurant’s Facebook page Monday afternoon. Kaiser said this was “one of the hardest decisions I’ve made in a long time—harder than deciding to leave the legislature and, ultimately, pulling out of the Atlanta mayoral race,” and noted the decision was difficult “for the sake of my staff,” whom she described as being “all like family to me,” adding she is at peace as long as they are okay." - Beth McKibben
