"Facing a 30-day “notice to cure lease default” from the Port of San Francisco dated March 11, I learned that the owner of the Ramp is negotiating rent relief and a lease renewal after allegedly not paying rent since March 2020 and owing $779,151; the notice also cites noise violations and unsanctioned renovations. Owner Arvind Patel currently gives the port 6.75% of the Ramp's sales, and he has proposed paying $182,000 in back rent, reducing his sales percentage to 6.7%, and splitting the restaurant and boatyard leases while negotiations remain ongoing." - Dianne de Guzman
