"After a customer complained about cockroaches in the dining room on Sept. 27, I saw that the Southern Nevada Health District shut down Little Dumpling; inspectors found multi-generational, multi-species cockroaches in the kitchen and closed the restaurant for an imminent health hazard. They also documented a buildup of old food and grease in the kitchen and dining room, dirty woks, walls, and ceilings, old food on a can opener blade, a peanut spoon, and a cutting board, spider webs in refrigeration units and dry storage shelves, crispy wontons and fried chicken stored in grocery-store plastic bags, used and new bamboo skewers mixed together, mold in the ice machine, and uncovered food in the fridge subject to contamination. The restaurant returned to a zero-demerit A grade on Sept. 30; it had previously been closed in 2005." - Susan Stapleton
