"A Queens comfort-food restaurant is finally advancing on its long-awaited Manhattan location at 92 Rivington Street (near Ludlow Street), scheduled to open in late June; this third location was announced about two and a half years ago and had been slated to open in April 2024, but issues delayed it until the team signed a new lease in mid-May, as announced by Donnie D’Alessio. The original Astoria restaurant opened in 2010 and became known for hearty items such as loaded fried chicken sandwiches, chopped cheese empanadas, and croissant breakfast sandwiches.
