Former Brennan’s Baker Opening Mayhew Bakery in Mid City - Eater New Orleans
"Mayhew Bakery, founded by U.S. Army veteran Kelly Mayhew, is set to open next month in the Bayou St John neighborhood. The bakery will offer a variety of pastries, breads, and lunch items. The building, co-owned by Jared Zeller, will also feature a shared workspace. Mayhew, who gained popularity through a pop-up bakery in Old Metairie, will have a menu that includes cranberry-orange scones, apple-cinnamon muffins, pumpkin bread, various tarts, breads, cookies, and signature 'swirls'." - Clair Lorell
