"Opened August 19 in the former Hickory Hollow space at 101 Heights Boulevard, this restaurant showcases Southern comfort food inspired by the chef's grandmother and the Czech‑German heritage of the Texas Hill Country. The menu leans into hearty, classic dishes such as fried green tomatoes, smothered pork chops, creamed corn, fried okra and German chocolate cake, alongside the smoked meats the chef is famous for.
