"This Peruvian/Japanese food fusion restaurant started as a popup in 2023 but has now become permanent. Nestled behind other retail buildings on the Westside of Century Drive, it’s a cozy, small space where Sushi chef Ian Skomski and Peruvian chef Mark Mitchelson are offering Nikkei. Named after the Japanese immigrants who created the cuisine in 1900s Peru, there’s no nigiri here, instead, it’s salmon tartar on flash-fried rice paper, or Tuna Tiradito where big eye tuna swims in aji amarillo citrus sauce with Persian cucumbers.
