It's unclear why the restaurant is called Paparazzi Chophouse—paparazzo didn’t become a thing until the 1960s—but Milkshake’s representative says “the crux of the concept was always centered around the glitz of an occasion” where everyone feels special and compelled to look their best and that it isn’t necessarily centered around any specific era.
