Veggy Street’s Plant-Based Fast Food Expands to Southeast | Eater Vegas

"Less than a year after launching in Spring Valley, I note that Veggy Street is a 100 percent vegan, quick-service restaurant that promotes “sustainable plant-based eating.” The original location on Fort Apache north of Russell Road is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the menu features standout items such as the “veggy cheeseburger” (a vegan pattie with agave/guarana quinoa, lettuce and red onions on a pretzel bun), plus wraps, sandwiches, falafel, soup, a vegan “smartdog,” Parmesan yucca fries and desserts highlighted by a banana tapioca creation. The company plans to open a second location in the southeast at the under-construction Sprouts Retail Center (northwest corner of Silverado Ranch and Maryland Parkway) with drive-thru-capable pads, promises of “many expansions,” and a projected opening date yet to be announced; the brand will celebrate its anniversary in October." - Bradley Martin
