"Inside the Central District’s Metier Brewing, this counter-service spot is the newest restaurant from Communion’s Kristi Brown, one of Seattle’s most famous chefs; the scene can be chaotic (on one Sunday the register area was frantic because “someone had apparently called out and one poor overworked chef was making all the food and ringing up orders”), and a line forms quickly, but service was great and the sandwiches are worth ordering. The Catfish Po’ Mi — a portmanteau of po’ boy and banh mi; Brown loves to mash up soul food with Asian cuisines — was spicy (from remoulade) and charred but also pickly thanks to pickled carrots and daikon, which “added up to much more intense and complicated flavor profile than a typical catfish sandwich.” When the reviewer was done they “wished I could have eaten it again.”" - Harry Cheadle
