"A family-run, minority-owned cafe operated by Bessie King and her mother Julie, the owners say they were previously unable to offer delivery through third-party apps because of the exorbitant commissions those services charged. With the new state fee cap on delivery commissions, they report a glimmer of hope after a prolonged, financially painful period: they may no longer have to make deliveries themselves, and the change could meaningfully improve the cafe’s chances of survival." - Terrence Doyle
