"Travelers heading to Denver International Airport now have a new watering whole for beers from Denver. Great Divide Brewhouse & Kitchen is now open in Concourse C, near gate 32. On the beer side of the menu, Great Divide offers its full line-up of brews, including a rotation of small-batch and seasonal choices, along with a new specialty beer, dubbed Amelia Mary Blonde Ale, crafted in celebration of its first airport restaurant. Cocktails such as the Chairlift, includes the brewery’s Colette Farmhouse Ale, along with Peach Street’s Goat Vodka, cold-pressed carrot juice, fresh lemon juice, and ginger syrup. The food, such as the Yeti braised short rib tacos and the Farmhouse Ale chicken, uses some of Great Divide’s craft beer in the ingredients. Colorado lamb meatballs, zucchini frites, bison chili, bread pudding with Cap’n Crunch and white chocolate round out the lunch and dinner menu. In the morning, diners can order a breakfast burrito and the chicken and waffles. The restaurant even has a grab-and-go section to pick up drinks and snacks. The space features exposed wood beams, stone walls, a customized beer can art wall, and displays of Great Divide graphics, including a life-sized yeti silhouette graphic. Diners can even pick up hats, custom shirts, glassware, key chains, bottle openers, and more from a retail section." - Susan Stapleton
