"Senator Kamala Harris, the Democratic vice-presidential nominee, visited Raleigh, North Carolina on Sept. 28 and stopped by microbrewery/restaurant Trophy Brewing Company. The company is known for using vintage trophies for displays, tap handles, and overall decoration. Harris presented the co-owners Chris Powers, David Woody Lockwood, David Meeker with an MVP trophy for their new case. Right before the COVID pandemic, the team renovated the 827 West Morgan Street location to include a built-in trophy case. Harris’ gift would be the first one to go into the display." - Erin Perkins
