"I've been following Peking Tavern's comeback: after more than six months since announcing a permanent closure in October 2022, the nearly 10-year-old underground hangout for dim sum dishes, scallion pancakes, dumplings, and drinks is preparing to reopen. Ownership quietly teased a return over the new year and now plans to relaunch inside the closed former Seoul Sausage space at the base of the AVA building; the new 2,300-square-foot lease includes an open kitchen and a large patio. They are training new staff and awaiting a pending Alcoholic Beverage Control license for a full bar, with a planned opening in weeks if not days." - Farley Elliott
