"A pretty neighbourhood restaurant on a handsome Leyton street that, despite signs of gentrification, executes simple, well-cooked food very well. The menu changes daily and the Sunday roasts are a highlight, typically offering a meat or vegetarian option served with many sides — think pink-roast slices of lamb, a flaky lamb pie, potatoes in lemon butter, polenta and kale — designed for sharing. The room and the presentation are deliberately attractive, and the overall experience reads as an unpretentious local feast." - Anna Sulan Masing
