"In Atlanta’s Upper Westside, Bellwood Coffee’s flagship has been brewing seasonal and classic coffee concoctions since 2019. What started as a pop-up cart has transformed into a coffee bar, roastery, kitchen, and, more recently, a cocktail bar. The Ezra (cold brew and vegan horchata) is always a good idea, but if looking for something a little stronger, the Spro-Tini is Bellwood’s take on an espresso martini made with cold brew concentrate and cognac. After a few cocktail pop-ups, Bellwood went official earlier this year with a drinks menu that includes notable sips like the School Night (a low ABV spritz with apple cinnamon, and caramel that “tastes like a fall festival”), the Sailor’s Surprise (a boozy gimlet riff with a fernet floater), and a mini Negroni flight. There are even spirit-free options like the FOMO (a bubbly pineapple drink) and the Garden Party." - Allison Ramirez, Eater Staff
