"What can you say about Austin’s oldest brewery, except that it’s a classic and the city is lucky to have it? Now almost 30 years old, the Del Valle brewery’s old-guard approach has always been to make German beer styles properly and priced reasonably. As such, both the Pilz and hefeweizen are among the best in the country. There’s a small German food truck with pretzels and sausages, a disc golf course should you be interested, and UT Longhorn football games are shown in the taproom." - Erin Russell
