"A welcomed addition during Nashville’s Great Sushi Boom of 2024, the Sushi | Bar franchise that began in Austin made a buzzy entrance to Music City. The 17-course omakase experience with an exclusive 24 seats per night (two seatings of 12) costs $175 per person, with wine and sake pairings adding another hundred or so to the tab. The price tag does come with an air of exclusivity — diners arrive for a shared cocktail in a living room lounge before being ushered through a nondescript door into the intimate dining room. Then, skilled sushi chefs prepare and plate nigiri with just the right amount of flair: smoking cloches, blow torches, dollops of caviar.
