"Opening in late summer in the cozy former Little Dipper/Tres Gatos storefront at 669A Centre Street in Jamaica Plain, this neighborhood-focused restaurant is led by local residents Luke Fetbroth and Claire Makley, both seasoned hospitality professionals. The menu will feature house-made pastas, Sicilian-style pizza, and an eclectic, food-centric beverage program. Fetbroth — who consulted on the previous tenant and previously served as Tres Gatos chef de cuisine after stints at Sarma, Giulia, and early pizza work at Stone Hearth Pizza — teams with Makley, a Hojoko alum who helped open Boston’s Koji Club sake bar. Positioning itself as “a neighborhood restaurant first and an Italian restaurant second,” the team emphasizes a convivial, vegetable-forward approach summed up by their motto, “Carbs are our love language,” and is promoting the project on social media ahead of a hopeful late-summer opening." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal
