"Blue Bottle Coffee, a well-known third-wave coffee company originally from California and now partly owned by Nestle, is opening a new location in Harvard Square, Cambridge on February 3, 2018. This is the first of several planned locations in the Boston area. The Cambridge cafe will source its beans from Blue Bottle's roasting facility in Bushwick, New York, and offer a beverage menu of standard coffees, espresso, cold brew, and New Orleans-style iced coffee. Patrons can also enjoy pastries, toasts, and liege-style waffles. The cafe will eventually offer coffee classes on brewing techniques and different coffee varieties. A community day with non-profit partner Artists For Humanity is scheduled ahead of the opening, supporting youth creative employment opportunities." - Dana Hatic
