"Essential Cherrywood Neapolitan pizzeria Unit D Pizzeria is closing on 2406 Manor Road, but the owner of the nearby Eater 38 Italian food truck owner Patrizi’s, Nic Patrizi, is going to take over the space for a new restaurant opening sometime in the late summer. Unit D’s last day will be held on Saturday, May 18. Owner Shalou Barth wanted to turn her attention to a new project that involves food that she can’t talk about yet. She did note that it isn’t a new restaurant. Barth opened Unit D in 2015, serving wood-fired Neapolitan pies and dishes.
