"At Patisserie Internationale, a Parc-Extension bakery located at 886 Jean-Talon W, I learned that Quebec’s provincial Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) — in a notice also reported by CTV — issued a mass recall for all products sold up to Monday, March 11 because the products were not prepared in a safe, hygienic manner. The recall covers all items made up to that date, including bread, cookies and phyllo-based sweets such as baklava, and notes that some of the bakery’s products were also sold in other establishments (possibly as a self-service option) with some items labeled with the bakery’s name and address while others were not, though MAPAQ has not specified where the unmarked products were sold. The bakery is currently open and MAPAQ considers products sold since Tuesday, March 12 safe to eat." - Tim Forster
