The restaurant closed its Liberty Street location last year, moved up to Main Street, and is now owned by the Mission Group, which also owns the dinner-only venue Pretzel Bell next door (the two share a kitchen) as well as Jolly Pumpkin. Avalon offers a variety of egg dishes, including fluffy omelets, egg and potato tacos, and the Avalon Hash, made with root vegetables, spiced tofu, and a choice of avocado or eggs.
