"India Palace, a longstanding Somerville restaurant specializing in North Indian and Punjabi cuisine, transformed into a South Indian restaurant this month, joining a family of restaurants across the country. Now open as Godavari Mini (23 Union Sq., Somerville), the restaurant serves dozens of biryani, dosa, and tandoori dishes, and there’s also a small selection of Chinese-inspired noodle and fried rice dishes. With a wide selection of both vegetarian and meat entrees, Godavari Mini also serves a daily lunch buffet and provides catering services.
