"Coming to South of Fifth this April at 801 South Pointe Drive, Kosushi marks the first U.S. entry for the one Michelin star–rated São Paulo restaurant that has been in the guide since 2015. A fixture in the Ipiranga neighborhood since 1988 and led by chef George Yuji Koshoji, it is known for blending Japanese and Brazilian flavors; the menu will feature an assortment of sushi, sashimi and rolls alongside its popular fusion-style dishes such as the Tuna Dyo Ikura Quail Egg (a thin slice of tuna over Japanese rice with quail egg yolk and ikura roe) and the Tamago Furai (slow-cooked eggs breaded with ikura roe and truffle oil, served with sweet potatoes). The bar and beverage program, designed by Brazilian bartender Márcio Silva, will include cocktails like the Shokobutsuen (gin, lemon juice, basil, cucumber, mint and sugar syrup) as well as an extensive list of wines and sakes, and the restaurant also promises some special-to-Miami dishes." - Olee Fowler
