This Nearly 20-Year-Old Mexican Restaurant Now Hosts A Buzzy Bakery’s Pop-Up | Eater Portland

"Launched as a permanent weekend morning pop-up in late May inside the cantina’s space, this family-run café is operated by members of the Azcorra family who have long ties to the local Mexican food scene. Open Friday–Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the menu highlights traditional breakfast dishes — menudo, chilaquiles, milanesa — plus a $10 bombazo on a sourdough English muffin stuffed with bacon, baked eggs, avocado, tomato, Swiss and cheddar, and a homestyle arroz con leche from the family cookbook; coffee is supplied by local Mexico City–born roaster Adriana Lopez’s Tostado Coffee.
