"A social media sensation for its photogenic “tiger stripe” brown sugar bubble tea, Taiwanese franchise Tiger Sugar will expand from its Chinatown roots later this year and open two new locations, including one on the Strip. Uncovered back in January, Tiger Sugar is still planned to move into Silverado Ranch’s Silverado Park Place retail center at 9530 S. Eastern Avenue, close to the Pin Kaow Thai Restaurant and Lee’s Sandwiches. Replacing a former insurance office, exterior signage has been in place for months, but an estimated opening date has yet to be revealed. And announced as an original tenant for Resorts World’s Famous Foods Street Eats, Tiger Sugar is officially listed as coming soon to the globally inspired food hall. New paperwork hints the Strip outpost will be smaller in size than its fellow walk-up counter stalls and the creamy drinks will be served from a “prefabricated food cart” to be created with an estimated budget of $45,000. Tiger Sugar arrived on Spring Mountain Road in March of 2020, creating long lines for its sealed beverages that create a syrup stripe when vigorously shaken. Among the popular flavor combinations, black sugar boba milk with cream mousse or pudding, lattes, black sugar pearls, tiger jelly upgrades, and an oolong tea substitute." - Bradley Martin
