"Carmelo’s Cucina Italiana, recently under the guidance of Ben Berg with Daniel Berg as the chef, is undergoing major renovations and is expected to reopen in late spring. The revamp includes an outdoor patio, a horseshoe-shaped bar, and a new interior design. Menu changes are anticipated, although details have not been announced. The restaurant was taken over by Berg a year ago from Carmelo Mauro, who intended to close it after 37 years.
