"Opening on January 13 at 1422 Western Avenue next to a strip club in Las Vegas, I'm looking forward to a 12,000-square-foot museum dedicated to the history, culture, and absurdity of punk rock; it's under construction and will house artifacts and memorabilia from punk scenes worldwide and will include a divey bar called the Triple Down (to be co-managed by P Moss, founder of the landmark dive bars Double Down Saloon and Frankie’s Tiki Room), a tattoo parlor, a chapel for both weddings and wakes, a punk merch shop, performance space, and more. Seven presale ticket bundles are available, with the $100 bundle including museum tickets, an ill-fitting t-shirt, and warm beer at the bar, while the premium bundle offers a plaque above a restroom urinal or on a stall door, a Punk Rock Museum staff jacket, tickets to the opening night party, a tattoo, and the honor of having a drink at the bar named for you." - Janna Karel
