15 Incredible Takeout Places in Seattle

"Spouses Osbaldo Hernandez and Dennis Ramey moved Frelard Tamales from a beloved farmer’s market stand to a full-blown takeout window in 2018 and since then it’s been serving some of the best comfort food in Seattle. The gluten-free menu has a wide range of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options — they even have dessert tamales — but if we had to pick just one, it would be the sweet potato mole, a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and savory notes nestled into a pillow of masa. (Don’t be fooled, by the way: Frelard Tamales is actually in Green Lake.)" - Alana Al-Hatlani, Harry Cheadle
