"Open from Tuesday to Saturday on one of the busiest streets of La Paz, Hay Pan is a small and cozy wine bar that showcases producers from across Bolivia, including Cañón Escondido and Magnus from Tarija (the main wine region in the south) and Jardín Oculto and Tierra Roja from the nearby Valle de Cinti (which has a long history of singani, the national grape spirit). Look for fresh takes on red varietals and pet-nat noir from Marquez de la Viña and Uvairenda 1750, located in the emerging wine regions of Cochabamba and Samaipata (outside of Santa Cruz), respectively. And be sure to order a cheese and charcuterie board, which includes a variety of local cheeses, llama salami, pickled vegetables, fresh bread, and a delicious locoto (chile) jam." - Valeria Dorado
