"I'm reporting that Boho Petite, opening in late July at 2146 Chestnut Street in the former Aesop retail space, will be a casual retail and to‑go outpost from the Marina spot Boho run by chef Andrei Busuev and partner Eileen Filmus. They say they built the menu around what someone working from home might want on a Tuesday morning, so offerings will be easy to take home and reheat or to eat on the way home with coffee; the plan is a completely to‑go format with no indoor seating, open from morning until late afternoon and closing just before Boho opens at 5:30 p.m. Busuev plans a wide pastry program — pastries, pies, cookies, cakes, quiches — alongside sandwiches (including a duck mousse sandwich and a vegetarian option with eggplant, zucchini, mushrooms, and burrata) and Busuev’s inventive Belgian waffles in sweet and savory forms (ideas range from a waffle with beef tartare to one with house‑cured salmon, whipped cream cheese, and onions, plus sweet versions like Nutella and walnuts). They also promise a number of gluten‑free dishes, seasonal retail items such as jams, and potential pre‑packaged dishes like Boho’s duck confit, short ribs, coups, and more." - Dianne de Guzman
