"Owner Grant DePorter is staging a Groundhog Day–themed tribute to Harold Ramis timed with the city's move to declare Friday, February 2 as Harold Ramis Day. To lure winter visitors he has assembled movie artifacts — including the Armani coat worn by Bill Murray and a commissioned 150-pound tree stump — and secured the film’s groundhog handler from Woodstock. The program will feature the director’s wife, Erica Mann Ramis, several cast members (Brian Doyle Murray, David Pasquesi, Peggy Roeder), and fans in full Ghostbusters costume (DePorter owns original jumpsuits). Food and drinks will be inspired by the Tip Top Cafe from the movie, and the event (3 p.m. on Friday, February 2) is explicitly pitched as a way to combat typical downtown winter slowdowns and encourage people to come into the city." - Ashok Selvam
